We just wanted to let you know we love the bookcase/cabinet Custom Wood Solutions remodeled for us.  It is hard to believe our 20 year old “built in” now encases a flat screen TV and looks brand new!  One would never know it wasn’t built that way from the beginning.  All of your suggestions on updating were right on target.

This past year we had some minor household repairs that needed to be fixed. We decided to try Custom Wood Solutions because we have known these men for several years. Their reputations preceded them. The work was completed promptly and thoroughly. When it came time for us to consider the complete remodel of our bathroom we asked  them for a bid. After hearing our ideas of what we wanted they offered suggestions and a realistic plan. They also submitted the best bid.  From beginning to end the quality work was completed in a timely and professional manner. 

My wife and I recently purchased a 6 year old home in Oak Leaf.  The house was almost perfect and we knew what would make it perfect.  I contacted David from Custom Wood Solutions and had him meet me out at the place to go over what we wanted to do. We knew that we wanted to convert the garage to a game room and convert the metal horse barn into a workshop and storage area. What we weren’t sure about were all the little details. Custom Wood Solutions master carpenter Orlando came out and we began working through the projects and figuring out timelines. It was amazing to me all the little details that David and Orlando came up with to make the projects that much nicer. 

An example of this was the garage door. We were converting the garage into a game room, but didn’t want to brick in the space where the garage door was. My wife had taken pictures of several interesting wooden garage doors she had seen in the area. We set down with Orlando and worked from the pictures to design a set of doors. My wife had some specific features and a certain look she wanted. When Orlando was completed, both my wife and I were blown away with the way it looked.

As with any home project, there were plenty of times when we started with a specific design in mind but had to make changes. Sometimes those changes were due to structural requirements and other times it was because we changed our minds.  In either case, David and Orlando were more than comfortable to work with us and always completed a project that exceeded our original expectations.

There was more than one time that my wife and I asked for the difficult, if not the impossible and Custom Wood Solutions was able to deliver. One of these situations was the built in desk with hutch, built in entertainment center, and built in book case. We wanted it to match the existing cabinetry in the rest of the house. Not only were they able to match it exactly in color and design, but they were able to do it for less than the cost of me purchasing stand alone entertainment center.

The quality of work Custom Wood Solutions turns out is simply amazing. On several occasions, either my wife or I would say “Its good enough.”, and David or Orlando would reply that it wasn’t good enough for them. And they would keep working at it till it satisfied their standards. The dedication to excellence is often a lost art with today’s “handymen”, but it’s a standard with the craftsmen at Custom Wood Solutions.

The dependable, affordable, professional craftsmanship of Custom Wood Solutions made tremendous improvements to our own home, business office and rental properties. We are now working with them to remodeling the interior of one of our rental properties and are sure the improvements will add value.

We also used their expertise to build two gorgeous Cedar Arbors at our home. We couldn't be more pleased with the results. They succeeded in turning a plain patio into a great new outdoor living space and provided great protection for one of our vehicles. The size, color and style fit in perfectly with the exterior decor of our home.
